  • Determine your retirement plan needs.
  • Design a plan to meet your needs.
  • Review the plan document with you and your advisors.
  • Get IRS approval.
  • Enroll employees.

Your Responsibilities

Typically, the plan sponsor:

  • Provides accurate and complete employee information in a timely manner.
  • Responds to requests for information or signatures.
  • Notifies CMC when an employee becomes eligible to join the plan, and when an employee terminates, retires or dies.

Your full cooperation is imperative. It may save you thousands of dollars in penalties. Accuracy is critical.
